Do make say think

Actually these tunes have been up on our site since October (at the bottom of the Albums page). These are early works of the band that were never really meant to be released (1995-'99), they are very personal and sometimes very exploratory (it's good to know where your poles are but you wouldn't necessarily want to live there). After a decade or more of distance we thought it might be nice to share these works with some of our fans. Please enjoy.

Thursday Oct. 22nd 2009. We've just played our 1st show of the tour, we were super-nervous playing the new material for the 1st time to a sold-out crowd at Scala. Our next gig is in Greece the following day, our flight at 7am from London. So we decide not to bother sleeping, just get a few beers and go up to the room and do a post-mortem on the show. We get on the half-empty plane to Thesaloniki and most of us sleep some. As the plane is starting to descend after the 3 hour flight, it then goes abruptly upwards and accelerates!!? WTF.

Hey everyone. We had an awesome time touring this Fall and Winter. We played about 50 gigs from October to February, and got to play some great new places like Korea, and Taiwan on our Asia stretch. We met tons of cool people who helped us out, and have lots of stories to follow. We're just getting used to this new website thingy here, and will start to blog semi-regularly.

the last time that we played in Washington DC was in 2007 at the black cat. i found out after the show that there was a re-entry issue with a couple of fans and they couldn't see the show. presumably you are our myspace friends and we would like to know who you are. no imposters! i know the whole story and so will the victims of that night.
